About Me

About Me

After many years of working within a retail head office environment, a significant life event occurred which made me pause and reflect on my life. This reflection challenged me to think about all aspects of my life as well as my past and what I want for my future. It was at this juncture, that I decided to start the journey to become a counsellor.

Even though I was full of self-doubt and wondering if this was too big a change, I began this adventure. Little by little, I’ve listened and been listened to, I’ve challenged and been challenged, and I’ve supported and been supported. Being in this environment not only has cemented my desire to work with individuals. It has also facilitated my own personal growth and revealed an inner strength and resilience that I was unaware of.

Having learned and experienced what therapy can do, I now wish to share my knowledge and experiences as an  Integrative Counsellor and Therapeutic Coach. I believe that the journey of self-discovery, healing and change begins in a non-judgmental, warm, and supportive environment. Unlocking an individual inner strength and resilience and using it to overcome difficult situations, stressors, and issues will bring a deeper awareness of themselves.

Therapy can feel scary, overwhelming, exciting, uplifting with various feelings and emotions being carefully explored. Let’s use this exploration to put you at the centre and together we can collaborate to gain a deeper understanding of who you are and who you want to be.
