Thinking of Therapy

Thinking about therapy & What are the next steps

Therapy is a process that takes time, patience, consistency and taking the initial steps to begin can often be the most difficult. Knowing where to start or how to tackle challenges can be overpowering, intimidating, and frustrating. Big problems are usually small at first, no matter how trivial they are, and it’s completely okay to talk about them!

Once you have decided on taking the therapeutic journey towards counselling or coaching, then all you need to do is follow the next few steps:

  • Make a booking either by completing the form enclosed under the Contact option or by calling and leaving a message on 07542805719;
  • I will aim to respond to you within the next 48 hours;
  • Together, we will arrange your consultation session on a day and time that best suit us both. The aim of the consultation is to understand a little more of what brings you to therapy, your current situation and my approach to therapy.

After our consultation and if we both happy to work together, the next steps will be:

  • We will collaboratively arrange a date and time for our first session;
  • Before the first session, I will email you a Client form, a Counselling Agreement form and my Terms & Conditions;
  • During the first session, we can explore further what you brought to the consultation session, and any doubts and expectations that you may have. I will also confirm that you have understood the Agreement form and T&Cs and answer any queries.
